Many airlines fly to Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO - Arusha) and Julius Nyerere International Airport (Dar es Salaam). The Roadtrip Tanzania office and vehicles are located in Arusha.
Skyscanner and Google Flights are good websites to look for deals and book tickets. The major routes to Tanzania are:

Roadtrip Tanzania car delivery and drop off services
Roadtrip Tanzania offers airport shuttle services. It is possible to start or end your roadtrip from another location, other than Arusha. This is an option you can select in the bookings form, and you get to see the additional costs. The costs are forwarded to the hirer, and comprises of fuel, driver fee and his bus ticket. Note that your car rental agreement starts and ends on the date the car leaves and returns to our office. The days required to bring back the car to our office are added as rental days.
How to get from Dar es Salaam to Arusha
Most international flights fly directly on Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam. Some airlines have a fuel stop and continue to Arusha, the safari capital of Tanzania, or Dar is their end destination. You can choose to have your roadtrip car delivered to Dar es Salaam as a additional costs, or you take a domestic flight to Arusha. The most reliable domestic airline companies in Tanzania are Precision Air, Air Tanzania, Regional Air, Coastal Aviation, Air Excel. Precisions Air tends to be the most reliable.
How to get to Zanzibar
For direct flights to Zanzibar, Air Tanzania, Regional Air, Coastal Aviation, Air Excel and Precision Air are reliable. You can book your flights online. Did you know that Zanzibar is only a stone's throw away from the mainland? Several boats run between Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar every day, departing from Sokoine Drive. The crossing takes about 2.5 hours and costs around $40. Check the Azam and Fast Ferries websites for scheduled departures and tickets.
If you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of the port, note that most beach resorts along Pangani and Ushongo Bay listed in the accomodation overview, also arrange transfers by private speedboat to lovely Kendwa beach in the North of Zanzibar. Costs are in the range of $ 220 one way per boat. The journey takes 1,5 hour.
